Our client, a well-established, upmarket professional nail salon located in Sea Point, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to join and lead its dynamic team.
This role is suited to a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced service environment and is passionate about operational excellence, people management, and delivering a premium client experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall day-to-day management of the salon operations
- Leading, supervising, and motivating the salon team
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
- Driving turnover, productivity, and performance against set targets
- Implementing and maintaining salon policies, procedures, and standards
- Managing staff schedules, attendance, and discipline where required
- Ensuring that correct payroll information is provided for monthly salaries and commissions
- Overseeing hygiene, health & safety, and professional standards
- Protecting confidential business and client information
- Ensuring stock availability and control
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior salon management or lead management role
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours in line with operational requirements
- Commercial awareness with a focus on turnover and performance
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
