Position: Financial Assistant
We invite applications for the position of Financial Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate recording and reconciliation of financial information and will report directly to the Senior Bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic individual who possesses a sharp eye for detail, who can:
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
- Process invoices using Sage accounting software
- Communicate and coordinate with department heads
- Prepare supplier reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile petty cash
- Perform general administrative tasks as required by the Senior Bookkeeper
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with relevant financial/administrative experience (a financial qualification will be an advantage)
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software and MS Office (Excel essential)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and reliable team player
