Our client, a dynamic medical equipment supplier and healthcare services provider based in Cape Town, is seeking a Junior Finance & Audit Manager to support the organisation’s financial management and audit functions. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to commit to a minimum three-year development journey and grow within the company as part of a long-term finance and audit career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Perform general ledger processing, reconciliations, and journals
- This role requires regular involvement in day-to-day finance and audit tasks
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and operational finance reports
- Support preparation of annual financial statements
- Execute internal audit testing and control reviews
- Track and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions
- Support external audit processes and provide audit documentation
- Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance processes
- Supervise and guide junior finance staff
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Finance / Accounting
- 5+ years’ finance or audit experience (some experience in supervising clerks, juniors)
- Studying towards or recently qualified CA(SA)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Professional, curious, and eager to grow
- English and Afrikaans speaking will be beneficial
- SAP proficiency will be an advantage
