Logistics Finance Administrator

Our client in the transport and logistics industry is looking for a reliable Finance Administrator to support their financial and administrative processes. This role plays an important part in ensuring that transport documentation, invoicing, and account reconciliations are accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and record Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation for internal fleet and external couriers
  • Investigate and resolve missing PODs or delivery discrepancies
  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices and creditor accounts
  • Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Manage debtor and creditor account queries
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and financial reconciliations
  • Maintain organised financial and transport documentation
  • Provide general administrative and reception support when required
  • Liaise professionally with drivers, couriers, suppliers, and customers

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric is essential.
  • A relevant bookkeeping qualification will be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a finance or logistics administration role within the transport/logistics industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience working with Datatim will be advantageous
  • Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans is essential
  • Strong organisational and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Driver’s License and own vehicle
  • Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • A strong customer service orientation is essential
