Our client, a leading industrial facility is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to drive plant reliability, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance & fabrication teams
- Implement and optimise preventative maintenance systems
- Ensure rapid response to breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis
- Oversee reliability of plant equipment (boilers, conveyors, presses, electrical systems)
- Manage spare parts, workshop operations, and contractors
- Drive engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and act as GMR 2.1 appointee
- Support production to maximise uptime and efficiency
Requirements
- BEng/BTech (Mechanical or Electrical – Electrical preferred)
- GCC (Factories) – essential
- 7–10 years’ experience in heavy industry
- 3–5 years’ team management experience
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, PLCs, and equipment reliability
Preferred Experience
• Steam plant and boiler systems
• Industrial power distribution
• Generators and backup power systems
• Automation / PLC systems
Technical Skills
• Preventative maintenance systems
• Industrial mechanical and electrical systems
• PLC and automation systems (Allen Bradley advantageous)
• Root cause failure analysis
• Equipment reliability engineering

Additional
