Supply Chain Manager

Lead Operational Excellence in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment

Our client, an established manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain function within a high-volume production environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an operationally focused professional who thrives on managing logistics, fleet operations, procurement, warehousing, and supplier relationships while ensuring uninterrupted production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities
  • Lead fleet operations, transport planning and vehicle utilisation
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Oversee procurement of key operational consumables and services
  • Manage warehouse operations, inventory control and dispatch
  • Ensure continuous availability of materials required for production
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and reporting
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary operational teams
  • Drive operational efficiencies, cost optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or a related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics management
  • Proven experience managing warehouse, fleet and logistics operations
  • Strong leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Experience within one or more of the following sectors will be an advantage:

  • Manufacturing
  • FMCG
  • Industrial processing
  • Transport and logistics
